About Me

I am Qian Zhou, a postdoc in the Future Faculty Fellows program of Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; postdocs in this program develop skills in both research and teaching. My research mentor Prof. Klara Nahrstedt and I are working on immersive multimedia systems and networking. Meanwhile, I am working closely with Prof. Michael Zink and Prof. Ramesh K. Sitaraman from University of Massachusetts Amherst. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University, where I was advised by Prof. Fan Ye on large-scale IoT systems and networking and collaborated with Prof. Yuanyuan Yang.
